My Old Pastor Uses Mythology to Justify Sexism

Were women created out of dirt, or out of a rib? How did a magical fruit curse affect the hierarchy between men and women? Did Jesus choose any women to rule over a resurgent ancient civilization? These are the kinds of insane mythology-based questions most of us don’t ask when considering how we should behave toward women. But my pastor does. So watch as I analyze his attempt to explain why these events reflect a perfect loving God’s need to set up sexism as a Plan B after the eating of magic fruit ruined his perfect plan for gender equality (with woman still being the helper, of course).
