Misogynist for Trump: Clarence Mason Weaver, a member of a new Trump advisory board, claims “men and women are not equal,” and argues that women should be “quiet,” “humble” and “submissive.”
Media Matters reports:
Right-wing pundit and recently announced Trump advisory board member Clarence Mason Weaver has said that women aren’t equal to men and that they damaged society when they won the “‘right’ to leave the home and go to work.” He has claimed that women who report sexual misconduct at work are the reason “why we don’t want to be around you in a business.” And he has told women that they should carry themselves as “handmaidens” and “be submissive.”
Weaver is part of the newly formed “Black Voices for Trump,” an initiative recently launched by President Donald Trump in an effort to attract black voters in his 2020 reelection campaign.
As one might expect from a Trump supporter, Weaver is a pig, an open misogynist who uses religious superstition to justify his contempt for and hostility towards women.
Weaver, who describes himself as an author and motivational speaker, is a frequent guest on Fox News, and has made numerous YouTube videos expressing his contempt and hatred for women. The titles of those videos include “Men and women are not equal,” “Toxic Feminism is the real problem,” and “Why are women so masculine?”
The description for his video titled: “Men and Women Are Not Equal” reads:
Men and Women are not equal and praise God for the differences. We have different goals and roles. When we change those roles, the children suffer. When the children suffer, the family suffers. When the family suffers society suffers. Why are we suffering?
In the “Men and Women Are Not Equal” video, Weaver warns women that men are not looking for “queens,” noting:
We look for handmaidens, sweetheart. We look for a helpmate out here, girl.
Weaver continues:
If you’re as strong as I am, you go and deal with the burglar next time. You’re as strong as I am, you go out at night and take care of the car. If you’re as strong as I am — if you’re not, be quiet and be humble and be submissive.
Bottom line: New Trump advisory board member Clarence Mason Weaver claims that women are not equal to men, and argues that women would be better off acting like “handmaidens” rather than “queens,” telling women they should be “quiet, humble, and “submissive.”
